Biography

Andrew Fly (born February 6, 1983, in Catania, Italy) is an internationally active film composer, sound designer, and junior programmer.

Fascinated from an early age by the creative potential of synthesizers and virtual instruments, he developed a unique and emotionally rich sound, working from his personal studio.

Andrew has composed scores and designed soundscapes for numerous independent films produced in Italy, Nepal, the United States, and Australia, collaborating with renowned directors, producers, and companies.

He is also the founder of Cinematic Alpha, an acclaimed brand known for its innovative sample libraries, now used by award-winning composers worldwide. Among his most cutting-edge projects is the creation of a full symphony orchestra entirely synthesized with his proprietary DOVInst (SVBLIME EST) technology.

His work is driven by the motto “Positive Vibes Only,” which reflects his optimistic vision and passionate approach to music and sound design.
