My journey as a sound designer began with the Korg Trinity in 1997. This synthesizer not only shaped my sound design style, but it also influenced my character as a designer. Since then, I have been using various sound design software such as Logic Apple Sculpture and SUNVOX to create different organic and granular sounds. In 2018, I started my sampling journey by creating simple sample libraries, which I later distributed and sold. This experience eventually led me to establish CINEMATIC ALPHA in 2019, and it has been an incredible journey ever since.
I began to connect with notable composers and industry professionals, and with the support of Tim Truman, a composer famous for his work on Miami Vice, and my video editor friend, Fabrizio Famá, who encouraged me to create virtual instruments, I launched my debut product, VOCALS. It gained the interest of thousands of people around the world.
Thanks to my sample libraries, I had the honor of hearing my sounds in popular TV series and films, including the renowned Money Heist series with the composer Ivan Martinez Lacamara. In 2021, I introduced the DOVInst (Digital Organic Virtual Instrument) technique, which involves stretching different layers with varying tempos to achieve organic and granular sounds.
I was fortunate to be interviewed by Simeon Amburgey along with my collaborator, Alejandro Cabrera from Audio Brewers, to discuss our trilogy project, "The Doors of Time." In 2022, I created SVBLIME EST, the world's first symphony orchestra using the DOVInst synthesis, which can partially emulate the sound of strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion.
Julio Navas, the composer, hosted me in CONECTADOS by HISPASONIC (International Magazine in Spanish Language), and we talked about SVBLIME EST.
As a sound designer, I am always looking to create new sounds that push the boundaries of traditional sound design principles. I strive to be a rebellious sound designer, producing unique and innovative sounds that surprise and captivate listeners.
